Georgia National School House
 The Georgia National Schoolhouse is the state's largest classroom! The 19th anniversary, state-sponsored Georgia National Fair, October 2-12, 2008, invites students to take an Field Trip of the Fair. We encourage students to tour livestock and horse shows and educational exhibits. The award-winning Stories of Agriculture features 19 educational displays on various agricultural commodities/livestock around the Fairgrounds. Admission to the Georgia National Schoolhouse is free for students, teachers, and bus drivers, pre-registration only. October 6-10 only in the morning. Some chaperones may be subject to a $7 admission charge. Field Trips must be registered in advance. A packet of information will be mailed after a class has signed up. Volunteers will on hand at the West Gate. Field Trips are self-guided. School lunches may be eaten in the West Gate Parking lot.
There is no limit on the number of students attending the Fair on a Field Trip from any one school. Please call 478/988-6483 or 800/987-3247 (Georgia only) or e-mail thawk@gnfa.com to schedule an Field Trip. THIS YEAR ALL BUSES WILL NEED TO ENTER
